“Saying goodbye to our beautiful Mia was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but Rest Your Paws made such a heartbreaking moment as gentle and compassionate as possible. The vet came out to our home so Mia could be in a familiar and peaceful environment surrounded by the people who loved her most. She was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring, taking the time to talk us through everything and reassure us that we were making the right decision for Mia. She even brought along so many special treats for Mia, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant Mia could enjoy some of her favourite things right up until the end. Every staff member we spoke with at Rest Your Paws showed genuine empathy, kindness, and compassion during such a difficult time. Mia was treated with so much dignity, care, and respect, and we were given the time and space we needed to say goodbye. We will always be so grateful for the support they gave our family, and we highly recommend Rest Your Paws to anyone who has to face this incredibly difficult decision for their beloved pet. 🐾❤️”

“We chose to go with Rest Your Paws when we had to let our beautiful 14 year old dog Abby go as her arthritis was too painful for her. We had quick responses to my initial phone call and the whole process was explained over the phone. Everyone we dealt with was very sympathetic, informative and helpful. I was able to organise everything via email and text message which made it easier for me. Dr Sophie came to our home at a time that suited us so we could all be there to be with Abby. Dr Sophie was amazing and explained what was going to happen. She reassured us that we were making the right decision for Abby due to the stage her pain was at and her limited mobility. It was very peaceful for Abby and we got to say goodbye and be with her through it all. Special touches like paw prints and a candle for Abby were lovely. I would definitely recommend Rest Your Paws to anyone in the same situation.”

“2 days ago we had to put our beloved boy to rest after his terminal diagnosis that he had been battling with for the last few weeks, the decision was the most difficult thing myself and my husband have ever done thus far, he was suffering and we were scared on what was right to do and how to do it. We wanted him to pass in his home surrounded by all his familiar smells and comforts and with us by his side cuddling and holding him until the end, Jenni and Dr Sophie were incredible, Sophie’s calm and compassionate nature helped us through such a difficult situation, we got to be with him for as long as we needed, even steve who collected our boy Thor for his cremation was so respectful and compassionate, I am so glad this was the way we choose to go it made such a horrible day that little bit easier. The whole process was incredible from start to finish, they were even ready to help accommodate us on short notice if he was to decline further before our planned day, knowing this made us feel supported and felt comforting, we had his angels on standby to help him if needed earlier. Thank you so much to all of you that helped us, we will forever be grateful for what you did for us and for our boy that day.”
