“To have lost this darling dog was astronomical to our family. He was so special, and so greatly loved. We originally booked to have him put to rest in a clinic, and boy am I glad we changed our minds. Rest Your Paws offered such an incredibly supportive end-of-life service, from the first point of contact until the end. Their staff seem well trained to have helped us make arrangements and were so patient in answering questions and providing information. In Melbourne, they use Edenhills pet cremation services also which was of great importance to me for our fur baby’s after-care. We ended up having to push our booking forward a week because our darling dog sadly crashed, which we were lucky RYP were able to facilitate. Dr Sylvia who attended was just wonderful. She spoke to us, but also stayed silent at the perfect times, treated our dog with much respect and care, gave us privacy, but also made herself available, there was no rush, she seemed genuinely interested in our dog and the life he’s lived. We honestly just couldn’t fault the entire service. Saying goodbye was certainly the hardest thing I have lived through to date, but Rest Your Paws made this time in our lives as gentle as it could possibly be for us and our now rested canine companion. I wanted my dog to have the perfect goodbye, he deserved that, and I am forever grateful that Dr Sylvia and the team provided that to him, and provided us with the softest goodbye. With the help of RYP, our darling fell asleep under the stars, next to a crackling fire, in my arms. Thank you with my whole heart for that. 🤍🕊️”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saying goodbye to my beautiful Mastiff x Ridgeback boy, Floppy, was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. From the very first contact, Rest Your Paws made an unbearable task bearable. Their communication was everything it needed to be — understanding, warm, and never once pushy. The words they chose and the tone they used told me immediately that I was in the right hands. The vet who came to our home was extraordinary. She was calm, caring and compassionate from the moment she arrived. She walked me through every step of the process so I was never left wondering what was happening. I wasn't rushed. I had time. And throughout it all, Floppy was treated with absolute dignity and tenderness. While I was spending my last moments with him, she quietly took his paw prints and cut a small tuft of his fur as a keepsake. When I came back inside after saying goodbye, I found his paw prints laid out beautifully alongside a candle and his fur in a little bottle. I wasn't expecting that. It meant everything. The partnership with Eden Hills cremation services was seamless — they collected Floppy gently, and weeks later his ashes were hand-delivered to me with a beautiful scented candle. I cannot recommend Rest Your Paws highly enough. When the time comes to say goodbye to my next beloved four-legged family member, they will be the first people I call. Thank you for giving Floppy — and me — such a peaceful farewell. 🐾”

“Dr Alison completed a quality of life assessment and she was honest about our dog's prognosis and gave us a realistic timeline. We booked her in to complete the at-home euthanasia, and she couldn't have been more gracious. She was warm and thoughtful while she carried out the procedure. If you have to make the terrible decision to put down your pet, you couldn't ask for a more peaceful way to do it. We're very grateful that we had this opportunity, and that our last memories of our dog are of him being handled with dignity.”
