Dr Kym Haack
Veterinarian
Dr Kym grew up in far north Queensland, where her love for animals led her to the University of Queensland, graduating as a vet tech in 2003, and later to Perth, where she graduated as a veterinarian from Murdoch University in 2009. Having said goodbye to two of her own beloved cats, and having witnessed the stress that so often accompanies saying goodbye in a hospital setting, she became passionate about offering pets a more peaceful, dignified farewell in the comfort of their own homes. With more than 20 years of combined nursing and veterinary experience in emergency and critical care, and many years of collaborative work with an oncology department, Dr Kym brings a deep appreciation for palliative care, quality of life assessments, and pain management for pets with cancer. She is dedicated to easing the emotional journey for pets and their families, and to ensuring every goodbye is gentle, respectful and full of love.
