“We had an amazing experience with Rest Your Paws when we had to put our 8yo Kelpie (Pancake) to rest due to illness. Dr Camilla was the kindest and most thoughtful human to do this for us. Nothing was rushed and we were able to take our time and spend our final moments together quietly and peacefully at home. As difficult as it was to loose our best friend Dr Camilla made us feel at ease, she even brought a chocolate muffin, a real treat before passing. “Amazing. Was one of our toughest sadest days. Dr Amanda made it a lil easier, was able to come out on the same day we rang in time frame we asked so both hubby and i would be home. Dr Amanda Came on time. So friendly, calm, caring. Didnt rush us at all. Explained every detail. We were not coping at all (no one ever does) our boy was 15 and stopped eating, organs failing we knew it was his time, before he started suffering. We were blessed he wasnt in any pain, still doesnt make it easy. But Dr Amanda did make saying bye a lil easier in the comfort of our home. Love that she bought lil treat incase my baby wanted it before he went (sadly he wasnt eating) but my other boy was happy to help eat the treat. Lots of dogs hate vets, this way our babies could say bye to one another in their own home where they felt comfy and safe. For us we didnt need to try and drive home in a complete devastated mess. The offer of paw prints and lock of fur was a beautiful touch. I would 100% recommend Dr Amanda she is the sweetest loveliest person. (I pray i never have to call on you again but if the time comes and i need to help my baby along to rainbow bridge, i will call you guys.) Thank you for your kindness.”

“Thank you so much for your service and support through this, that day couldnt have been more perfect. I wish I could remember the vets name (we think it started with an L) - she was more than I ever could’ve hoped for. She showed compassion, care, empathy, kindness and everything else. She slowly talked us through each step and let us as a family make the decisions together when we were ready for each stage, while treating twiggy with so much respect and love in her final moments. She asked questions to get to know twiggy and remember her funny moments and treated everyone in the room like they were equally important in this process. This was our first pet in the family to pass, I really cannot express how appreciative I am for how the appointment went. Thank you again to all the team involved.”

“I cannot thank these wonderful people enough for their compassion, undertsanding, empathy and kindest words during our sadness and heartbreak. Dr Tori came to our home and was the most kindest and caring person I have ever met. She did not rush us, she explained everything to us down to the finest details and let us know we could ask absolutely anything. She did prints for us, collected Lucy's hair and placed them in pretty little vials and lit a candle that had her name on it. She even stayed a little to look at a special photo and listened to the stories we shared about our beloved Lucy girl. There is some comfort in this heartbreak knowing there are people like this who really care. Thank you all so very much for being the wonderful humans you are and the service you provide even after the fact. I had no idea there was a Support Community and pet grief counselling thank you. xxx”
